Mark Your Calendars – Kick-A-Thon is Almost Here!

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Kick-A-Thon fundraiser! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the grass field. Expect a morning filled with music, energy, and fun as our boys take to the field! Families are highly encouraged to come out, cheer on the players, and enjoy the action.
After the Kick-A-Thon, we’ll be hosting a brunch for the players, organized by the Boosters and Parents. The brunch will also take place right next to the field, so stick around and celebrate a fantastic day! A sign-up form for brunch will be sent out about a week before the event—keep an eye out for it!
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and all the money raised directly supports the THS Boys’ Soccer program. Thanks to previous fundraising efforts, we’ve been able to purchase vital equipment like additional practice gear, flat nets, and even the Veo camera—investments that elevate our program and help ensure the continued success of the Triton Boys’ Soccer team.
Pledge sheets will be sent home with the players on Friday 9/20, and a digital version can be found below in case more pages are needed.
Players will reach out to friends and family for pledge donations before the event. With the Kick-A-Thon just around the corner, we encourage you to remind your son(s) to start filling up those pledge forms now!
On October 12th, the players will compete in at least two rounds of Lightning, a fast-paced penalty-kick game! Here’s how it goes:
Players take turns shooting penalty kicks while one player is in goal.
If a player scores, they head back in line for another shot. If the shot is blocked, they switch places with the keeper!
The winner of each round will take home a prize!
Board officers can accept completed pledge forms at games leading up to the event, as well as the morning of the Kick-A-Thon. After the event, players will follow up with their supporters to collect any outstanding donations.
Checks should be made payable to Triton Boys’ Soccer Boosters, Inc., with "Kick-A-Thon" and the players name in the memo line.
Cash donations are also welcome!
All donations and pledge forms are due by Friday, October 17, 2024. Please give them to any member of the Boosters board (Kettie Laky, Nicole Cirino, Brian Clark or Christine Orpin)
The player who raises the most money will also get a prize!
Remember, it’s the athletes’ responsibility to seek donations—so families, feel free to support but let the players take the lead! Every dollar raised will directly benefit their soccer program and foster a sense of teamwork and community among the Triton Soccer supporters.
